After a life-altering visit with an Ayurvedic practitioner that helped to reframe the importance of self-care, Wanda Williams-Gee and Andrea Martin instantly knew they needed to build a company together.
The two sisters turned that moment into research, product development and launched Harvest9 with a goal of creating a line of luxury skincare products inspired by Ayurveda, blending herbs with key Western ingredients.
Williams-Gee and Martin heard about Ureeka in March 2020 via word of mouth, listened in to a webinar and joined the community soon after.
The Ureeka moment
Harvest 9 was preparing to re-launch their signature face mask product, and Williams-Gee and Martin were matched up with Ureeka coach Antonia Dillon to craft a plan to kickstart sales and build brand awareness.
The two founders worked with Dillon over 6 sessions to develop a plan for marketing, including considering audience targeting, psychographics, key demographics and positioning in the market as well as competitive points of differentiation.
After doing their homework, they made the call to launch with a few key levers including beauty box subscriptions, influencer marketing and social media, in the process creating a “know, like, trust” model that enabled the brand to gather critical data on how many and which kinds of touches led to a purchase decision.

The impact
Since joining the Ureeka Community and working with Dillon, Harvest9 has seen a 100% increase in Instagram followers, a 500% increase in Facebook followers and 6x increase in revenue.
The co-founders saw so much value out of their first package of 6 coaching sessions that they immediately extended their relationship again.
